Hi, I am new to both this list and the unsupported mac os X list (though I am old with macs and other lowendmac lists). I was "sent away" from the PCI PPC list with this problem/question: how to install panther on a beige 233 G3 (revA rom, 4gb hd, 128mb ram, all the bare minimums. All I need X for is my web server) I have downloaded and tried XPostFacto to no avail. When it tries to install from the cd, upon startup, it replaces the grey apple logo with an x (the kind of "x" in front of the cigarette on no smoking signs, if you get what I'm saying ;) Anyhow, I am stuck with OS9 on an external scsi 9.1gb drive. Any help?
