Bruce got it right: You can't install Panther on a Beige without a PCI Rage128 or Radeon video card. Motherboard video is not supported yet by the current version of XPostFacto.
now I must rush in, I have the rage 128 pci card pulled from a blue n white and panther (via xpf 3.0a11) stops with something like too old drivers and panics. Happens with a 7600 and a Supermac S900, I'm waiting for a radeon mac edition...
I have this same error with a 7600 with 10.3.2 (10.2.8 works just fine) but the Rage128 (from a B&W) works fine with my Beige G3 in 10.1.5, 10.2.x and 10.3.x.
