Seperately, does anyone know what needs to be done in Jira to get Aaaron
the permission he needs to do this on his own. Maybe he needs to be
added to a group in Jira?

You may be right - it's marked as "fixed" / "resolved", but if Jira
doesn't equate that with "Closed", then that could be the problem. For
an issue at that state, should I just add comments, then?
