Hi Aidan :

Again , nice early examples ! Trust me , if you could see some
of the early renderings of what turned out to be awesome 3D stuff ,
you'de know that these examples of yours are not bad at all .

Someone brought up a good point however , about real meshes as
opposed to displacement meshes . Sorry , but I would have to concur .

'Real' geometry inside RS should , in my opinion be the Holy
Grail . However , we have a tendency to say "well , RS isn't that
good at this , or that " . We just don't get it ...

We have 2 of the very best 3D programmers known to Man within
our midst , and really all we have to do is inspire them (or as
Mr. Combes has suggested , just whine like babies until they give
in) .

My point , however , is , if users do the leg-work in a parti-
cular area , then perhaps find some deficiencies , chances are
good that Realsoft will respond once it is made clear to them .

If there does happen to be an impetus toward landscape rend-
ering and possible collision detection etc. , and mesh evaluation
is an actual consideration (no idea if it is or not) then I'm sure
RS would be more than willing to at least look at the situation ,
and respond (as Vesa has done recently) and even make special
considerations where required .

Anyway Aidan , please keep up the good work , and trust me ,
if you are really as serious as you certainly appear to be , then
no doubt you will change RealsoftV5.3 , if so required .

Cheers to you .
