I have simply assumed that the ccd aspect ratio will be more or less equal
to 35 mm film, which is 2:3. 2:3 is the aspect ratio I use for film width
and height in rs3d. It gives a perspective that matches the photos pretty
well, allthough I have not tested it as thoroughly as you did, could be
interesting :)

After I read Cris's mail on the subject I looked up the aspect ratio for the
ccd in my camera. Guess what, 2:3!!
