A little OT, but would it make sense to install the Amiga OS on the PS3
Platform?

Funny to see that Apple seems to have made the right decision to switch to
Intel.
Right on top of the benchmark....
And with the upcoming Mac version of Realsoft....
Arjo.

Yes , if that's not enough to make you drool ( 4
quad core CPU's ) then nothing is . Finally we
have what Amiga developers wanted for all of us
10 years ago ... pure drop-dead power !

Amiga developers were so close to the action ,
everything seemed to be centered around image
and music creation ... (big sigh) .

We've had dual boards for a while , which were
OK , but let's face it , and let's call a-spade-
a-spade ... quad boards have been a long-long-
long time coming (yes we had some quad boards
make brief unnoticed appearances & so what?)

Finally , after all these years , we have dual
core , then quad core , quad boards . Amiga was
32 bit way back when and would more than likely
have these 64 bit issues solved years and years
ago and maybe even possibly propelled RISC dev-
elopment to it's much fuller potential .

Oh well . Christmas buying season is almost
here . Let's run around kicking up the snow and
forget about all that could or should have been
if only it were a perfect (non-MicroSoft) world -> .

The amiga marketing has always been it's weakest point.
And the new Amiga.com is not doing better.
>From my experience with them they are completely in their world.
They don't care about amiga as a computer anymore they care about making dated games for portables.
The amiga OS the latest version has been in dev for 6 years now, and it's not released yet.

The amiga OS on ps3 is probably possible with an amiga emulator on Linux.
There would be no gain in speed.

I would like to create some crazy animation with Real3D 1.0
It would be very cool if Realsoft could make and sell Real3D 1.0 for PC and sell it for 10$.
It has one of my favorite workflow and UI.
Maybe it's just nostalgia.
