Hi Mark :

In the meantime, here's more ivy:

Looks good . What kinds of render times with and without
Gi ?

A few more tips:
- I suspected in close-ups that the leaves were reversed. Hard to tell sometimes... checking 'Invert V' in the Object import dialog can help re-aligning them. The .obj im-/exporter is really great and versatile, RS would be much more isolated without it! - I applied parts of the Paper shader (translucency) to the leaves to provide some backlighting: makes them more alive, less plastic-like. Also, there is some Surface Filtering to make the leaf shadows lighter.
cheers,
Mark H

Yes , translucency is key and a real treat to look at under
certain lighting conditions , I think . Does the paper shader
parts allow you to vary the amount of transL ?

Thanks for the tips .
