I don't trust 'light' versions... like 'Maya Complete' which is actually
'Maya Crippled'!

Same here . Obviously the whole industry went to various
forms of "free" S/W . Cracks are rampant . Release a version
and buddy sends it out to the group .
RS3D went another route . Give away a fully functional
demo version that runs 60 days (not 30 days) . Smart .
Community is not only required , but is essential .
IRC is fine , but please throw the odd bone our way ,
on this email list , when you find the time .
The expanse of RS3D is essentially without limits .
If you can imagine it , it can probably be done , and
with only an email or 2 to this list , and if not then
an e-mail or 2 to Vesa & Juha .
