Hello,
I have finally gotten this script mostly together; started out as an idea of how to set a bunch of nurbs curves to colors within a certain range ( a range of greens for grass). Anyway, it is not perfect yet, but I wanted to gather suggestions for other attributes that this might be good to use for seting in this way. It is very easy to add them at this point, but I avoided adding all possibles for the sake of keeping the script compact (as if ; D As always, it is available on the Real GreebleZ! download page <http://www.catmtn.com/rr/realgreeblez/download.php>.

P.S. Timo gets credit for suggesting other attributes ; )

Hi Zaug,

Sounds like an incredibly powerful tool to manipulate whatever attributes of many objects at once!

But I got this error:
ReferenceError: layer is not defined
(Error:r3mainw:8013)

Sounds like something easy to fix... hopefully.

Suggestion: would it be possible to use it for custom channels... these are available as object attributes and we could write VSL code that interprets the channels to apply for example different stages of erosion to a large set of objects, each with its own individual 'erosion' setting! Just brainstorming here... I'll try this custom channel thing anyway.

Quick reminder: it's already possible to 'bake' VSL attributes like color into a bunch of individual objects with the Map2Obj tool...

Your RealGreeblez script works fine, I hope to show something worthy next week! (how about grass nurnies)

Thankz again,
Mark H
