Hi Mark
wow... cool, and these kind of prjs also intrest me !
Has a very nice mood to it and as said by Robert, it has same feel to it as
those wonderful games Myst and its sequel Riven (as I think he is thinking
of)...which brings back a lot of nice memories !
Looking forward to see this anim when its completed !!!
I also love that big painting of yours, it has a great fantasy/dreamy
feeling to it, cool !
Great work on both the painting and the anim !
Thanks for sharing and good luck with it.
Take Care

Nice work Mark, the only flaw I saw was the long camera turn that is not
looking at any scene element at some point.
This is the kind of project that interest me. Please post more.

Thanks!
Yes I noticed that flaw too... in this empty space there will be the
'entry
point', it's roughly where the cam is at the start. The end of a rope or
ladder hanging from an opening in the ceiling, ending at top of a large
stalagmite. This opening is a hatch in the floor of my basement ;)
Actually, the whole project was started to help me with the perspective of
a
big painting I was making for my little nephew (see attachment). The 3d
version got a life of its own... I want to correct the errors, spend a day
adding some more details, finetune the materials and then render at high
quality.
Robert, maybe you mean the old adventure game Riven, it's always been an
inspiration for me!
tnx,
-Mark H
