Hi Matt, Thanks much for the links. They did help. At this point I'm getting ready to load a mysqldump from the public instance into the authoring instance, then copy over the repositories directory, but I have a question/potential issue:
I took a mysqldump from the authoring instance as a backup, and noticed that the size of that dump is x6 larger than the one I took from the public instance... I checked the DB itself and there are the same 48 tables in both instances. I'm not sure if that's normal (author keeping versions maybe...?? dunno), but if the outcome of importing the public instance into the authoring will result in the authoring instance showing all (and only) the object that are in the public instance then I'm fine with that... Any advice for the novice...?
