Hi David, sorry if you mentioned that already somewhere up in the thread and I missed it, but when you restored dump from public, did you also restored /repositories/magnolia/workspaces folders in the filesystem of author instance? If those folders are still the original ones, chances are that your indexes are now inconsistent w/ the db. I would suggest you go and delete all /repositories/magnolia/workspaces/*/index folders (don't forget to back them up first) while your server is down. When you startup server after that, startup will be bit slower but all indexes will be recreated fresh against your restored DB.
