Hey David,

There's indeed a good chance the script you're referencing was written again 
Magnolia 3.6. This, otoh, might work for you :

Just be aware it annihilates any sort of security on your system, so make it's 
not available to the outside world.

A few side notes:
- make sure your Mysql tables are using the InnoDB engine. If they're not, 
migrate them asap.
- please, please, please, for your own sake, upgrade to a more recent version 
of Magnolia (and Jackrabbit). At the very least, start with the latest in the 
3.5 series, then the latest in 3.6 series (3.6.8) I believe. Migrating to 4.x 
might be a little more challenging, but definitely worth it.

Both these advices will definitely make your system more stable.

Finally, if you managed to dig through your log files and find the original 
cause for your templates to break up, that could probably help identifying the 
original source of your problems, and hopefully making sure that doesn't happen 
again ! :)
