I regenerated p2 metadata and pushed it to the dev update site. Can you please try to update again?

Also, you may want to submit a bug report to Eclipse about this timeout issue, e.g. to allow to make timeout configurable or something like that.

 Eugene

I'm running 3.4 and am trying to use
http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update-dev/ (which is where my current version
came from). BTW, I have no problem with other update sites -- only this one.

I will try the command line mirror. But if eclipse cannot get the update in
the first place I don't see why it would work from the command line.

Folks, can you please specify what Eclipse version you are using?

You can try to update from the dev update site. It is a smaller update site and it currently has exactly same version of m2eclipse as on the release update site. See http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/update-dev/

You can also try to use Eclipse update manager from the command line to mirror update sites locally. See Eclipse help for more info on that.

A plea from those of us that simply cannot get the eclipse download

to perform an update of m2eclpse before timing-out:

Would somebody -- anybody -- drop a copy of the features and plugins for
m2eclipse somewhere on a public site so us of the
eclpse-update-manager-challenged could upgrade.

thanks!
