*cautious whisper* It works? Really? I mean, of course it does!
It's notoriously difficult to convince the compiler to _not_ look in the
'default' directories. So yes, it's very likely that these parts (or
worse, only bits of 'em) were being picked up.

Make sure midgard-config is in you PATH durint the build. It will be in
/apps/midgard/bin.
