just checked config.log in php4.0.6 installation dir.  100% sure that mysql
was configured with /apps/mysql.  did a search on xml, and the pattern was
not found.  So..is it safe to assume i did use the --disable-xml switch?  it
would show up somewhere in the log if it was enabled right?  again, just a
guess...
