Just a long shot, but I remember Alan Knowles having struggled with ldap
conflicts with regards to midgard-php. Are you sure php has no ldap
support compiled in (check the phpinfo output, if you can)
And, any chance of allowing me some sort of access to your machine so I
can take a peek, and perhaps help solve this problem?
