really confusing :( - if i use only the wiki 'ui' i would rather not
find this pages
1. database vs. base -> there should be only one main place for such
info (base was also confusing in my past experience: the 'base' of
what?) or it should be really good linked
2. connectivity ist also suboptimal - i would await that f.e. postgre
connectivity docu is stored or linked from the 'postgre' wiki page ..
.. but as drew has already mentioned, we now have two database docu
coordinator for such kind of confusions :)

Well instead of deciding the Wiki page name for it. I think that it will
be cool if you go to the postgresql wiki and also submit this
OOo-PostgreSQL implementaiton:

Also I dont htink it matters since we have a 'move' page so we can switch
to other branch what is important is that we have the categories correctly
stated.
.. but be patient, mechtilde and simon just started with their work and
there are a lot of things to do ..

Just downloaded the latest sdbc driver and used Extension Manager to
install it, restarted OO.org and created an odb file against my local
8.2.5 server...smooth going all the way so far.
