Hmm, what is "the application"? Looking at my desktop's start menu, I
see "OpenOffice.org Base". I don't think our application is named
"database", that's only the categorization. Also, look at
http://www.openoffice.org: There's a "Base" link, no "Database" link.

As much as I agree that "Base" is ambiguous, that's the name which has
been chosen for our application quite a while ago (the team suggested
"Insight", but somehow couldn't convince others :), and it is referred
with this name in all other places.
