Well instead of deciding the Wiki page name for it. I think that it
will be cool if you go to the postgresql wiki and also submit this
OOo-PostgreSQL implementaiton:
http://developer.postgresql.org/index.php/Main_Page
There wasn't anyplace to really put Connecting to PostgreSQL from OOo,
so I put it on the "Community Generated Articles, Guides, and
Documentation" page under "Other Applications" -- "Using OOo Base to
connect to PostgreSQL - Open Office Wiki"
http://www.postgresql.org/docs/techdocs.2
Again your thought process is wrong, first make the page and then ask the
postgresql people to move it to the most appropiate name. Also ask them
to change from Open Office to OpenOffice.org.
Once again, That is great...
Just as a FYI, installed Kubuntu 7.1 recently on a couple of machines.
The postgresql sdbc driver is installed by default under these
distributions - Base isn't :-( but when you install Base it pulls it
right in.
That's pretty neat althought should we document the distro way of doing
things or the OOo way my suggestion is just do both add special notes to
the default installation.
