Just as a FYI, installed Kubuntu 7.1 recently on a couple of

That's pretty neat althought should we document the distro way of
doing things or the OOo way my suggestion is just do both add special
notes to the default installation.
Well I suppose that depends on how you define OOo?
Another case of perspective I suppose - on any given day at OOoForum.org
one fields questions about, comments on or has chit-chat with folks
using OOo ( OpenOffice.org, GO-OO [Windows, which is relatively a new
event - but the heavy Calc users seem to like it], Linux distros [GO-OO
I believe], NeoOffice [a few anyway], and lately a lot of StarOffice8
[Google], with a few Lotus Symphony users thrown in for fun ), so when
you use OOo - well, I tend to apply a fairly broad definition to that.
Did I mention that three is a budget repackager, Comsi, now selling at
Walmart, Target and Frys on line ( to name only a few) - plain vanilla
build, with a Contact Manager and a new name, AFAIK, I am betting we get
some of them soon.
So sure on these mailing lists and on 'the wiki' it should be
OpenOffice.org as the baseline, and all else a 'special' case perhaps.
On the other hand, if OpenOffice.org wants to represent the "community
of users", well that is broader then just the users of OpenOffice.org
downloaded from this website, IMHO.
Respectfully
Drew
