yeah yeah...I know...LOL...I'm just being a...hmm.. wimp.

Well, just unpacked the source files for the 2.4 release and checking
connectivity/source/drivers I don't find the postgresql sdbc code at
all...maybe this really is just in the 1.1 code tree??

if I understood, you have to download the postgresql "module" from http://dba.openoffice.org/drivers/postgresql/postgresql.zip

actually it has no sources, you have to check them using cvs
Instructions on http://dba.openoffice.org/drivers/postgresql/index.html#source

Also every linux distro comes with a cvs client.
And if you have KDE, you can use Cervisia (very easy); and even NetBeans has a nice cvs module!

You can try building it yourself:

 Hi Drew,

let me tell you that building OOo from the sources is very easy (at
least more easy than I thought), it will only take you time[1], and may
be the first time/s your build brakes, but once you get it... last time
I left my PC all night long building alone :-)

It really would be worth to try it, because a program build in your own
computer is likely to run far better on it!

[1] my last full build took 11:17:33, see the html output
 http://www.ArielConstenlaHaile.com.ar/ooo/temp/unxlngi6.pro.build.html
the connectivity module only takes 01:02:51
