Thanks for those examples. Personally, I'd favor a mix between the MySQL and the TSQL mode: I like the light blue keywords from TSQL, and the magenta numbers from MySQL. Functions (CONCAT, TO_CHAR, CHAR; in your example) should have a different color than keywords, IMO, black might be a good start. Colored brackets and operators are not really necessary, I would default them to black, too (though perhaps being customizable). All of this strictly IMO, of course.
