if you want to play with it(read: not in production use), here are
developer snapshots for mac and linux:

I'm confident to get this in OOo 3.1, it includes:
- syntax highlighting
- bracket matching
- font and font size configurable
Configurable colors will come in the next version, as Frank pointed out.
