Hi Max,
As I don't really have a mac and cannot reproduce, could you try to
use an accent grave inside the Tools-Options-User Data Dialog? These
are MulitLineEdits/Edits as well just like the SQL Editor.
Your're right, the miss-behaviour is so similar in the user-data-
dialogue that it looks like the same issue - and its both the accent-
problem and the 'skip wordwise with cursor' problem.
I filed two issues on gsl, and yes, I am panca. I hope these issues
are better filed. But it takes soooo much time, it's crazy...
As to your bracket-matching:
When you enter e.g. ")", this one and the corresponding "(" will be
shortly highlighted in bold
This didn't work on your Aqua-build and my Mac :) Maybe with a later
build...
Best

based on m24, so probably ever earlier. I'll resync soon to the
latest milestone and will provide new builds.

If it does not work there either, please create an issue for
component gsl, if it does work there, open an issue for database and
set the platform to MAC in either case.

yes, someone else mentioned this already (or are you
pancapangrawit?) and I sent it to Philipp Lohmann, as this seems to
be a general issue on MAC for all MulitLineEdits. But I think he is
in vacation right now, so did not hear back from him.
I guess both do not qualify as stoppers, but maybe Frank can do sth.
about it if there should be another dba stopper anyway?
