Thanks Tom,
Any idea how I can get at the VBA without Access? That's where I am
stuck - I thought as I can't open the Access file I can't get at the
VBA? Is there another way around this?
Thanks,
Darren

Darren:
One thing that I did not notice before, was that in their FAQ they state
it is not open source. I am not familiar enough with GPLv3 to reconcile
this statement. Someone else may be able to clarify this. It may be to
allow a user to tweak the database to their own needs and not run afoul
of copyright. So acquiring the code base alone may not be an option.
They do have contacts to address questions concerning this.

Have you visited this site?
http://freshmeat.net/browse/97/
It has a large listing of software, free & proprietary, that can store
images and data. They are not OO related, but quite a few are free.
One of them may fit your needs. I did a quick perusal(did searched for
image database) and saw several that might work for you.
