i was going to mention something about that.

i suspect that the BBC site (including BBC worldservice, etc) has many
asian readers. This will probably be the one thing to change this messy
default behaviour.

better that the balancing software responded correctly.

i used some of your email in my "feedback" to the site, reporting it as a
"site problem".

not right off hand. i really do hope that bbc.co.uk is the only site with
