From my point of view these servers will probably be fine for the task.
Take in account that you will need to monitor the servers and then find
out when is the right time to clean the DB backwards...
If you have 64 million mails per month it's about 2-3 million mails per
day and it's enough to make the DB build some size.
Monitor the DB table sizes every 30 minutes and see how what is the load
and what will probably be a good "delete backwards" policy.
Also don't forget to choose the right time for it since it's a very CPU
and DISK intensive task.
I can verify how many emails are passing throw one of my IT friends ISP
mail server per day\week.
I do remember that the DB in his system went to a size of 14-17 GB after
couple days of non stop work.
