This refers to using the RPMForge repository - which isn't
available for armv5tel.
Yes, that is so. I used it as a guide as there are errors in it.
Which I sent to the author and were not incorporated.
But I got amavisd-new-2.8.0-8.el6.noarch from epel (I just checked my
notes and system), which is no longer available in epel6. I went
through quite a bit at the time doing bug reports on the integration
of clamav and amavisd that were fixed. So I will have to look in the
epel list history to see when and why it was pulled then see what if
anything people are doing to replace it.
Error on my part. epel6 is up to: amavis-new-2.9.1-2
And on the Centos list there is discussion on it with Centos7, thus I
am guessing it is in epel7.
It IS in epel6-arm, but not all of its dependencies. So it won't
install.
You are right - it does seem to have broken dependencies. But
as I mentioned before, the EPEL6 repository was contributed,
and is not actively maintained.
If one of the list members would like to step in to maintain
it, please, do speak up.
