I recently did away with MS and have converted to Linux and OpenOffice. I amWhen you do File->New->Labels, you get a dialog with three tabs. On the third tab, you should see a radio box for "Entire Page", and a checkbox "Synchronize Contents" Both of these should be selected. This will give you a page of labels, but you can only edit the first one at the top, left, which is the master label. Whatever you put in it, including formatting, will be propagated into the rest of the page when you click the floating "Synchronize Labels" button.
trying to print Avery 8160 labels from the word processor. I have a
template .doc which I called up and tryed mail merge but have not been able
to figure out how to print more than one name per page. The labels are 3
across and 10 down. I used to use Avery Label pro or Publisher to do this.
Can I do it in OpenOffice or is there another product that I can use.
Scribus does not have the mail/merge option.
