Please don't give up, J. Herriot. If you are in doc you can explain to all of us who need to use this feature. I've tried both your instructions in Impress and have not been able to find the "new" selection you mention. Recall that I'm trying to add a new recursive outline so I need to look on the Presentation Styles panel of the Stylist not the Graphics Styles panel where "new" *is* available as a selection. If there is a way to add a recursive outline through the Graphics Styles panel please provide more detail. I'm very new to OO.
