Greetings

I recently switched from PC and MS Office 2003 to a MacBook Pro and MS Office 2008 for Mac. I believe that MS Office fro 2008 is such a disaster that it will take major surgery to fix. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them and the stock answer is "regrettably that feature is available in this version"

So in searching for an alternative and having already ruled out Apples I Works - just not enough features for me. I just downloaded Open Office for Mac yesterday and have been test driving Writer. So far I am impressed with it. There are a few features that either I can't find or are not available yet. FYI. I am a business consultant - my usual output is in the range of 45 pages, usually with about 5 sections. I will often have one page in the text that needs to in landscape which I could handle if OO if the following features were (are?) available.

Insert section (next page)
Print, one page only, current page
Format page - change one page only (in 45 page doc) to landscape layout. (in MS Word (Office 03) for PC, this is handled by inserting a new section for this page only; In that 03 MS Word you can fix the page numbers by selection header/footer and choosing continue from previous)

Thank you for your assistance and consideration.

Bob
