Hmm, let's see, this is WinXPProSP3 (can't recall if we've mentioned
which SP before).
Same here: MS WinXPPro Version 2002 SP3. No clue. Just for grins I'm
going to do the same on another identical system.
Second machine required no reboot. Heck if I know what the difference
might have been. This second on had OOO300m8(Build:9357) on it & the
install appeared as normal (user dialog etc).
I just installed on a second machine (same configuration). No reboot
needed. Conclusion: It's Windows. Who knows the ways of Windows? ;-)
