If you read the relevant thread, the embarrassment would be on the part of the developers of Thunderbird. Especially the part where they said that Thunderbird could not handle either the quantity of email, nor the number of email accounts that I use. And as far as having to configure Thunderbird and Gmail, if you'd read that thread, you would have seen the numbers for both OE and Thunderbird, in downloading email from the _same_ GMail account. > Perhaps that is why he was not more specific in his reference?
