Is this mail, in fact, coming from the newsgroup or elsewhere (check
headers)? This is a public forum and can be harvested by spammers for email
addresses. Many just spoof the "from" address but an examination of the
headers often shows it is really coming from elsewhere, typically from
zoombie PCs taken over by bots. My Outlook filters are a mile long at this
point but I only see an occasional piece of spam. My ISP filters most of it
and the balance lands in Junk.

You know what? If it was straightforward and automatic to unsubscribe we
could all do it. I have followed every bit of advice and am still getting
dozens of unwanted emails every day.
