Thank you for your reply, but I'm sorry, Gene, it won't work. I just tried it, and there is no option to save as an MS Word 2003 document. It only will save as MS 2000 document. So, I still need to uninstall. I really want to do this. I downloaded OO because a friend who was going to edit my book didn't have Word. But then he couldn't figure out how to do it, so I had to hire someone.



I will have to presume you are using windows since you didn't say. Uninstalling OO is no different than uninstalling any other program. Typically, Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Scroll to OO and select remove.
