Thank you for the reply Barbara... It would appear that on Jul 16, Barbara Duprey did say:

I have a hard time with the mouse/touchpad/and even trackball, And besides I don't believe I actually think visually. I'm sure that most icons (and sadly even the international driving symbols that have started to replace text regulatory and warning roadside signs) are worse than meaningless to me. I practically have to process the proverbial thousand words to interpret each one, each time... In the case of the roadside warning sign, I'm usually well past the hazard the sign was telling me about before I finish mentally translating it, in the case of Icons... Well If I can't get no helper text, I usually hit <ctrl>+<alt>+<del> long before the images start to make any sense... > * Perform an action that makes the toolbar appear. > * View > Toolbars and deselect the toolbar in question. > > Another possibility is to "dock" the toolbar (move it to an edge) while it is > showing. Though my experience with them did vary... > * View > Toolbars and deselect the toolbar in question. Was the first thing I tried, But it kept resurrecting itself... Docking the toolbar in combination with using "view >toolbars to deselect them was what actually did if for me. And then the toolbar finally stayed deselected... -- | --- ___ | <0> <-> Joe (theWordy) Philbrook | ^ J(tWdy)P | ~\___/~ <<[email protected]>> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
