I installed the above and now Windows Media Player can play my MP4
file *but* OOo 3.1.1 still says it doesn't support the format. Yes, I
rebooted the system after installing K-Lite. I'm using Vista Home
Premium.
Any ideas?
Hmm.
If I insert the file into Impress from the shared drive on which it
actually resides then OOo complains as I said above. But if I copy the
file from the shared drive to my local drive then OOo opens the file
without any problems.

Any idea why the drive makes such a difference?
