First of all, thank you for placing your post after my comments, so readers can understand what statements you are replying to. Regarding "personal preferences": This email discussion group isn't your (or anyone else's) sandbox and no one is free to do anything that disrupts the list and it's flow of informed communication. The reason that Bottom Posting has become an established email discussion group format, one that is mandatory on many lists, is because it functions well. It's less confusing. It is also true that posts that fail to eliminate previously posted text not relevant to the point being made will make the exchange of information needlessly tedious and the efficiency of the discussion group will suffer as a result. > Be polite.
