My comments here are intended to provide relevant information
regarding a repetitive openoffice users list problem stemming
from a single source:
All of which are off-topic and do not belong here but dummies continue to
continue it.
On January 5, 6 6 7 of 2008 someone with the same username
(Troll/Idiot) emailed a total of 18 posts; five of them with the
subject:
bottom-posting Nazis go away! (was Re: [users] OOo and ...
Godwinism is alive and well.
While another five contained the subject:
OOo and Linux/Troll/Idiot- personal attacks
YOu've put a surprising amount of effort into such a trivial and silly
thread.
The contents of his posts were similar to those he's sent on this
thread and at that time I too suggested that moderation (and banning
him from the oo users list if necessary) was in order.
Something bugs you, so rather than being intelligent enough to ignore, not
read and other aveunues open to you, you choose to simply start berating and
bawling to the moderators?
That's all I have to say about this issue.
No, it's not all you have to say. Youv'e "said" things in other posts in
this thread and almost assuredly will post even more of your crap in order
to keep the thrad going.
While trolls and power-mongers can be entertainng at times it is silly and
wrong to respond to them in any way or offer them food of any kind. Lowering
selves to their level simply strenghtens the appearance of your being of the
same ilk and same beginnings and attitudes.
The best and fastest way to halt a thread such as this is for everyone to
stop responding to it in any way. Being thoughtful and pro-active about
these things always win out; but trash-talking only strengthens the troll's
reserves.
Let's quit feeding the pigs. Not that it bothers me or I really care, but a
lot of other people sure seem to care. This thread makes a great reference
to see who the group's trolls are.
