Hi Andy, Johnny, Brian,

Thanks to your guidance I think I have worked out the solution. I re-read
all of your above suggestions and the devil was in the details.....

When one uses numbering as I am you can't do the indentation in the
"Paragraph Styles" of the F11 menu. You must do this in the"List Styles" and
it works well.

I strongly recommend that the Help should be updated to cover this point as
it will drive you crazy.

Once again I thank you so much for your kind help and time. Now I can get on
with my document :)
