A simple test allowed me to create a page in draw, copy the graphic to

Where is the problem?
DT
In my experience (1.9 builds):
* Styles aren't always brought across correctly - even if the same
(allowing for Draw settings not available in Writer) style exists
in Writer. This is mostly a problem with text.
* Connector lines are not available in Writer, and any attempt to
modify something in a Draw object (within Writer) can stuff them up.
* Draw objects in Writer are prone to 'stuff up' when the doc is
saved and re-opened. Colors seem OK in this regard, but any
lines, and shapes with text in them... change size, change
position, etc. Yuck.
I consider myself to be fairly good at getting around minor problems in
programs, but this one is (atm) too difficult... I simply save as a
graphic and then link to that. From what I've seen in the progression
of builds, this will probably get a lot better... Writer is certainly
handling Draw objects better than it did in 1.9.7x.
