I talked my boss into letting me write a page-and-half presentation to the company I work for. It will advocate a switch from M$ Office to OpenOffice.org. In that I don't work in an office myself, I'd like to ask for ideas from my fellow users to include in my report.

Here are the ideas I have, in order of precedence:

Compatibility with MS documents is improved in the 2.0 release, although it is not yet available. OOo has features that MS does NOT support: Export to PDF, for example. Master documents.

Also, Impress can read and write power point format, normally an expensive addon to Word.
