I have used open office for over a year now and have had very good results. I
use it to put out newsletter for my organization. Now that I have the
newsletter ready to go for this quarter, suddenly I cannot open any of my
information because now open office wants to filter programs it tries to open.
None of the available options will open any of my documents though. The
document I need to access is an .obt file. I have Beta version 1.9.7 in my
system. Can you please advise me as to how to disable this filter function. I
really need to access this file and Do not really wish to use another program.
As I already stated I have used open office for awhile with good results. I was
hoping that this version would be just as capable and reliable. Any help you
can offer will be appreciated,
