Well, I am Secretary of the Elisha Raymond chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (ER SAR). I use OpenOffice 2.0 to create publish) regular newsletters, some with photos. All the newsletters have graphics and graphic enhancements. Before OpenOffice, I had to mail every newsletter to all our members. It was both time consuming and costly. Now with OpenOffice, once I create the newsletter, I save it as a PDF and email it as an attachmant to many members. I do the same with the meeting minutes. With OpenOffice, I've also created ER SAR name badges and business cards all with graphics. (Your imagination is the limit)
