Sometimes there are problems that creep in when you do such a big
download. You can check if there is a problem by checking the md5sum.
This downloading a very small program called md5sum.exe and checking
the number that it comes up with against the number given on the
openoffice page. If it is different then there was a problem with your
download, and you will have to do it all again.

Alternatively, since you have a slow internet connection you may be
better off to buy a CD, or find a friend who has broadband.
