I have reciently downlosded open office to my PC. I was using windows XP
home and had windows office 2000 with all its programs excel ,word,
powerpoint etc. When I down loaded Open office it changed all my windows
office icons to Open office. That is fine because I like the open office
program.
I have one complaint. It is important that I can e-mail attachments in a
format that can be opened by most people who have windows etc. Many of
my e-mail attachments wre in either word or excel and are now open
office and cannot be opened by many of the people I sent them to.
I want to revert back to windows excel or windows word for certian
files. How can I do this. I want them to be in my files with the windows
excel or word icon so I may send them in this format which is easily
recognizable? can Some files exist in my computer as windows icon files
and most of the others in open office ? if so please tell me how I can
do this
