[users] Spellcheck in English (uk)

Hi there.  The option to use spellcheck in english (uk) does not appear to work 
although default is set to E(uk) in tools>options>language settings.  In 
spellcheck, the default remains in english(USA), conesquently any words such as 
labour are underlined in red.  Can this be turned off and is there a dictionary 
of english(uk) that can be used by spellchecker...
