I believe the email did come to the right place... however.....
OpenOffice.org is supported by the community. The email list, documentation, forums, and some of the development is done by unpaid people who want to improve the product. Most are not paid for there efforts.... I agree that some people respond agressively, but more often than not it is in reply to an agressive person who thinks that even though they receive OOo for free have the right to abuse an entire community of people...
