First, we are a group of people, supporting a product produced by a group of people who are (mostly) not paid by anyone. This is a concept called OpenSource. Second, if I were to fire off a message like mabarr did, you might get a reply like Mr. FUCHS sent. Sadly, you cannot get fired for such a response and I work in the customer service arena. Mr. FUCHS replied in a calm manner to someone who had just blasted the product. Third. There have been other replies to this situation that explained that there have been no recent changes (and as a QA technician I checked and found that the reply was correct for the Mac OS X version) to the method of handling pictures by OpenOffice.org for the Draw and Writer portion of the program. Fourth, and this is most important. You have posted details about this person that may/may not have bearing on this situation. I have, on occasion, also had problems with OpenOffice.org and have also spoken harshly about the program, but I have NEVER 'gone off' on the members of this mailing list (that I remember.) I have apologized for mis-wording and inappropriate language usage on this list. I recommend that your friend do so. We, out here are VOLUNTEERS, using our time to answer questions for those who are new, experienced, or anywhere in between in the use of OpenOffice.org. Very respectfully, James McKenzie QA Lead, Mac OS X American English version. I am not, nor have ever been an employee of Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, and their sales and support associates. I am a volunteer supporting the OpenOffice.org OpenSource project and the efforts of many people to bring this product to the Mac OS X operating system. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
